This is the first time I've ever had this problem or even saw anything like it. I put a DVD in my PC and the DVD shows up in the 'Device and Drive' of the DVD Drive with its actual title but there's no auto play. When I double click the drive I get an error message saying 'Application not found'. And when I launch Windows Media Player there's no option to play the disc but the disc shows up in: Organize > Options > Devices in the Windows Media Player. I've never seen this before. My PC clearly recognizes the DVD Drive and the DVD in the drive and I have Windows Media Player installed but somewhere there's some kind of disconnect between the two and I have no idea why. Any suggestions?
