As per your query, I like to inform you that; MS LifeCam vx-7000 is not compatible to run on Windows 10.
I suggest you to try install the MS LifeCam vx-7000 driver in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Thank you but, I am not looking for vx-7000. I am looking for LIFECAM VX-700 (Seven Hundred)
Why does everyone keep directing me to the vx7000.

Are you referring to camera by Microsoft or any other manufacturer?
There isn’t any Microsoft camera with model number as LifeCam VX-700.

Hello Richie314NJ,Driver files of LifeCam VX-500/VX-700 are already included in windows 7/8.
You don't need to wander finding drivers for windows 7/8.
You can operate LifeCam VX-500 or VX-700 with 3rd party webcam software.
Without 3rd party software, you cannot operate it with other applications in windows 7/8(x86/x64).
There are many kinds of 3rd party webcam software like:
Cyberlink YouCam, WebcamMax, Dell Webcam Central(when LifeCam is attachted to Dell laptop), etc. Might be there far more. You name it.
Let me tell you that three of them what I've tested with works perfect.

I have a vx-700 webcam too - the 7000 download does not work for it - and I have old vista OS.
Fine for when webcam kicks in by itself, but there is no way to use it independently....and I need to access it independ
ently :(

...and looked at the suggested sites , they all say secure downloads, but who knows what hidden extras they will sneak in the download.
MS needs to offer support to ALL it`s products.

The cam is no longer supported above Win XP/Vista.
I gave up on this LONG ago. For the nearest recycle bin and chucked it there.
