Install Oracle Developer 10g ( or even 6i ) successfully on a Win7 machine. I would be very glad if somebody could post here the exact steps for doing this. In other words, where exactly should we take steps that *DIFFER* from a standard installation. 'The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing.

Please make sure that the Oracle which you want to install should be compatible with the Windows 10.
Refer to the following Microsoft Compatibility Center to check if the Oracle is compatible.
If the issue persists then follow the below method.
Method 2:
I suggest you to run the Oracle in compatibility mode and check if it helps.
Follow the below steps:
1. Right-click on the setup file of the game and select Properties.
2. Select Compatibility tab.
3. Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
4. Let the Oracle install and then check the functionality.
