Before you jump to the download page, please note that even though it’s possible to establish a remote connection from TeamViewer 9 to previous versions (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8), it’s not possible to establish a remote connection from previous versions to version 9. For instance, you can’t establish a remote connection from TeamViewer 8 to version 9. In order to establish a connection to version 9, you have to update to TeamViewer 9.
The other cool feature is that you can create a desktop shortcut to any remote computer so you can quickly establish a connection without having to manually launch the program.
